You will be introduced to the art of whittling and wood carving, including more information on the types of tools, wood, and safety precautions.
Following this you will start with a basic lump of wood and embark on a journey of traditional hand-carving techniques and whittling skills. Guided by the experienced instructor, you'll use craft knives to bring your wood carving projects to life over the 10-week course.
This course is designed for participants who are complete beginners or students who have tried carving or whittling in the past and would like to get back to the basics. The comprehensive 10-week format allows for a deeper understanding of the entire whittling process, offering a chance to work with greater detail.

- Requirements: 18+ welcome, wood carving tools, wood blocks, beeswax, and sandpaper. Anti-cut gloves and/or anti-cut tape are compulsory (students without hand protection will not be allowed to work with the knives for safety reasons)
